Catching up with an old friend...

After finding out that an old friend is pregnant, I decided to call her to catch up. It was a blast! I haven't been that good at keeping up with people from my past, but I'm finding that as I age (I'm 30), I'm becoming more introspective and reminiscent. I'm hoping we will get together soon. Actually, this will get two of my friends back into my life, as she married another schoolmate. I went to school from kindergarten to senior year with the both of them, and we attended a small elementary and high school, one where everyone knew everyone. It was a very Andy Griffith or Beaver Cleaver childhood--and I hope their daughter will experience the same.

This is the Crazy Cat Lady's House. Isn't it cute? We've done a lot since we bought it, but it needs a lot more work. But at least the curb appeal has increased!
